Due to anticipated severe weather, the president and provost have decided to close the University tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 11.
Owens Library will close at 5 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 10. The weather advisory and advice about what to do during a power outage are provided below by Campus Safety.

Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service has declared a Winter Storm Warning for Nodaway County. The office of Residential Life in conjunction with Campus Safety would like to give you some information about how to deal with a possible ice storm on campus. The University will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 11), but the Food Court and The Station convenience store will be open with limited menu options.
Our major concern during a storm like this is loss of power. While it is unlikely that this would occur, we believe it is better to be prepared and communicate ahead of time. If a power outage were to occur we would convene a crisis team to implement our crisis plan.
Things to keep in mind during a power outage
