Following their 34-16 over the Grand Valley State Lakers the Bearcats will face Valdosta State Blazers for the NCAA Division II football national championship on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence, Ala. Details for official Bearcat fan travel to Alabama appear below.
For fans unable to make the trip to Alabama, the game will be webcast (audio only) at www.kxcv.org; broadcast over KXCV/KRNW (90.5 FM, Maryville, 88.9 FM, Chillicothe) and other affiliates of the Bearcat Radio Network; and televised live on ESPN2. Kickoff is at 11 a.m.
Travel Option 1, Bus Charter, Friday Morning
Ride to the championship game in Florence with fellow Bearcats. It’s a 14-hour bus ride, but fans won’t have to worry about the details.
There will be several rest stops and a meal stop. One bus will take riders to the Russellville Inn & Suites, another bus will go to Hampton Inn in Florence and the third bus will go to the Holiday Inn in Sheffield.
Buses will depart Maryville at 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, from the paved parking lot west of College Park Pavilion. They will leave Florence for the return trip following the post-game celebration at about 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

Just like in Option 1, fans don’t have to sweat the details. This bus will leave Maryville at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, (ideal for people attending commencement that afternoon) from the paved parking lot west of the College Park Pavilion. It’s a 14-hour bus ride, so arrival at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence will be at approximately 8 a.m. – just in time for the Bearcat tailgate party. The bus will leave Florence following the post-game celebration at about 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

Free Tailgate Party
Complimentary coffee, juice and donuts (while supplies last), sponsored by the Northwest Alumni Association, will be available to all Bearcat fans prior to the game. The tailgate party will begin at 8 a.m. on game day in the parking lot north of Braly Municipal Stadium.

Championship Celebration Package; Two Great Events, One Great Price

Complimentary coffee, juice and donuts (while supplies last), sponsored by the Northwest Alumni Association, will be available to all Bearcat fans prior to the game. The Bearcat Marching Band and Northwest cheerleaders also will perform.
Post-Game Celebration, Florence/Lauderdale Coliseum, 702 E. Veterans Drive, Florence, Ala. (Note: This is a different location from last year.)
Includes a catered buffet by Cajun’s Restaurant, a complimentary drink ticket and championship souvenir (souvenir for the first 1,000 fans). There will be a trophy presentation, remarks from Bearcat coaches and players and a brief commencement ceremony for graduating players. The nearby Florence/Lauderdale Coliseum, which will easily accommodate all Bearcat fans, is an alcohol-free environment.
Fans will receive a wristband showing that they are to be admitted to the post-game celebration. Cost is $15.
Directions
From the visitors’ side of Braly Municipal Stadium, head south on Royal Avenue all the way to Veterans Drive. Take a right on Veterans Drive and go about a a half mile. The Florence Coliseum is on the left side at 702 E. Veterans Drive.
