Each of these five brothers and sisters, all still in their 20s, is a virtuoso concert pianist trained at New York’s Juilliard School. Featured on "Oprah," "60 Minutes" and "Good Morning America," The 5 Browns' style, youth and talent have broadened the appeal of classical music for audiences around the world.

The 5 Browns are currently touring in support of their third CD, “Browns in Blue,” which features atmospheric classical and jazz-inspired compositions.

Their debut recording, “The 5 Browns,” spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the “Billboard” classical music chart. The follow-up CD, “No Boundaries,” stayed in the top spot for 21 weeks.

In the studio and on the road, the siblings continue to work toward their stated goal of introducing classical music to the widest possible audience. Concert highlights for 2007-’08 have included or will include a tour of Asia and performances at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, the University of Notre Dame, Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake City, the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee and the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, N.J.

When the Browns became the first family of five brothers and sisters ever accepted simultaneously to Juilliard, “People” magazine dubbed them the "Fab Five," and they soon signed a recording contract with SONY BMG Masterworks.

Today they are an unprecedented concert attraction -- a quintet of world-class concert pianists performing on five pianos in various ensemble combinations.

“Send them out to schools from shore to shore with piano teachers on hand to sign up students afterward, and the future of classical music will look a lot brighter,” reported “The Dallas Morning News.”

“The 5 Browns prove that classical music can reach teens and 20-somethings on their own ground, but without posturing or cheapening the product.”
