Professionals from Northwest Missouri State University's Office of Scholarships and Financial Assistance will visit area high schools during a series of Financial Aid Night workshops scheduled in December and January.
Workshop dates and times for each participating school are listed below.
Intended primarily for high school seniors and their families, Northwest Financial Aid Nights are open to anyone who has an interest in obtaining financial aid for college.
University staff will provide information about a number of financial assistance opportunities, including the basics of filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA is required by most colleges and universities and is used to determine student eligibility for a wide range of grants, loans and scholarships. All students are encouraged to complete a FAFSA, even if their family's income seems too high to qualify them for federal assistance.
