Off-campus entry applications and fees from businesses, organizations and political candidates wishing to participate in this year's Northwest Homecoming parade are due in the Office of Campus Activities by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5. No late registrations will be accepted.
Applications, along with additional Homecoming information, are available at www.nwmissouri.edu/campusactivities/homecoming. They may also be obtained directly from the Office of Campus Activities on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union.
Each non-campus parade entrant must pay a $25 fee. Checks and applications should be mailed to Northwest Missouri State University/Office of Campus Activities, J.W. Jones Student Union, 800 University Drive, Maryville, MO, 64468. This year's parade begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, on the Northwest campus. The theme is "Bobby Goes Around the World."
The parade will start in front Roberta Hall and proceed south down University Drive to the main campus entrance at Fourth Street. It will continue east on Fourth to the Maryville courthouse square, where it will turn north on Market Street before ending at the corner of Sixth Street.
A "family friendly" viewing area will be set up on campus near the intersection of University Drive and Fourth Street.
