Grounds crew accepts maintenance honor

Pioneer Manufacturing Co. representative Dirk Larson visited the Northwest campus today (Monday, June 25) to present the University's sportsfield crew with the Field of Excellence Award.

The Ohio-based company produces and markets paints and other products used to mark fields designed for a variety of athletic events.

The crew received the award in honor of its accomplishments in maintaining the football field and track at Bearcat Stadium and otherwise preparing the facility for competition.
