Millikan Hall Council

Mission: To improve the quality of life throughout Millikan Hall and to build community among all residents.
Purpose: Millikan Hall Council exists to make the residents of Millikan Hall a self-governing body through resident participation.  This will give each man and woman the right to voice his or her opinion on decision-making process in the residence hall. The Hall Council shall work with RHA, Student Senate, and the faculty and administration of Northwest Missouri State University to convey opinions and promote ideas to better the quality of life in the residence hall.

Neighborhood Action Board

Phillips Hall Council

Mission: PREAMBLE:  Whereas the residents of Phillips Hall, Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, in order to provide for the undertaking and directing of the student activities of Phillips Hall and the promoting of the general welfare of the residents therein, do hereby establish this constitution for the Phillips Hall Council.
Purpose: The purpose and responsibility of this organization shall be as follows:
  1. To represent the interests of all the residents of Phillips Hall by serving as a liaison to RHA and Residential Life.
  2. To provide residents a place to express their opinions.
  3. To address issues, situations, and problems that arise in Phillips Hall
  4. To promote an active in-hall community through organization and development of a variety of purposeful and quality programs and activities that meet the needs of the residents.

Residence Hall Association (RHA)

Mission: RHA is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting involvement and leadership among the campus community. Serving as a voice for all residents, RHA provides leadership opportunities and is a catalyst for change on campus, ensuring student engagement for all active participants.
Purpose:

Roberta House Council

Advisor(s): Elizabeth Stafford
Purpose: The purpose and responsibility of this organization shall be as follows:
A. A forum for housing chairs and property managers to work directly with Student Assistants (SAs) to exchange programming and developmental ideas for the residents of the hall
B. To provide hall-wide programs that compliment and help to achieve sorority goals and requirements
C. To address issues, situations, and problems that arise in the hall and improve life in the hall by doing so.
D. Serve as a direct connection between sororities and Residential Life as an area for information exchange and housing process updates.~The purpose and responsibility of this organization shall be as follows:

South Complex Hall Council

Mission: The residents of South Complex are working together to provide a more conducive environment for inter-student relations and academics.  It is our goal to make this residence hall “home” for the residents by developing a living and learning environment.

 Mission: Serve and support the residents and staff of the Tower Suites Residence Hall in programming, hall improvement, and service.
