Purpose: Alpha Kappa Psi is a co-ed professional business fraternity. AKPsi serves the dual purposes of education and brotherhood. Purpose: The goal for the ASB organization is to progressively improve the experience of true service-learning for Northwest students and successfully incorporate classroom learning in real world situations. Students will encounter difficult circumstances that place them outside their comfort zone, as volunteerism frequently requires willingness to benefit others, regardless of personal apprehension. Volunteering gives students the opportunity to meet new friends, network, and make a difference in someone's life.

American Association of Petroleum Geologists: Loess Hills Chapter

American Choral Directors Association

The purposes of this organization shall be those as set forth in the National Constitution of the American Choral Directors Association, and are state as follows:

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

The Northwest Missouri State University Student Chapter of ACM is committed to providing computer science students with opportunities for out-of-class professional exposure and social interaction. The chapter uses a team-centric structure. This utilizes intercommunication between teams to move the chapter forward in its professional growth.  The professional team's main goal is to provide an environment for the chapter's members to develop professional skills for tomorrow's workplace. This includes facilitating communication with industry, arranging field trips to local and regional corporations, and providing programs to keep the members abreast of new developments in the computing field.  The social team promotes camaraderie among all members and nurtures relations between faculty and student members.

Purpose: The fundamental reason for the Ellis Foundation’s existence outside of NWMSU is to build college retention rates by identifying students who are at risk of not graduating and offering additional support to help them through the challenges they face. Within the NWMSU community of Ellis Scholars, the purpose of the Ellis Foundation’s branch is to encourage college success and develop bonds within the Ellis community through friendship and networking opportunities. This is accomplished by way of providing a supportive framework that ensures the success of freshman students while also providing guidance and resources for all Ellis scholars. To give back to the Maryville community—and later society at large—the Ellis Foundation encourages and facilitates the development of a philanthropic spirit that maintains the “Pay it Forward” mentality.

Hudson/Perrin Complex Activities Board (CAB)

Purpose: Hudson Perrin Hall Council exists to make the residents of Hudson Perrin Hall a self-governing body through resident participation. This will give each man and woman the right to voice his or her opinion on decision-making process in the residence hall. The Hall Council shall work with RHA, Student Senate, and the faculty and administration of Northwest Missouri State University to convey opinions and promote ideas to better the quality of life in the residence hall.

Humans VS Zombies

Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC)

To  stimulate  campus  leadership  and  demonstrate  an  uncompromising  respect  through  the medium of NWMSU bands for gracious conduct, good taste, and unswerving loyalty.

To foster a close relationship between NWMSU bands and promote a high average of attainment by the performance of good music and selection of worth-while projects.

To provide a pleasant and helpful social experience for all engaged in NWMSU band work and to cooperate with all other musical organizations in any manner consistent with the purposes of the Kappa Delta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.
