Bearcat women claim titles at Truman

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women’s tennis players won two joint flight titles on Saturday at the Truman State Invitational in Kirksville.

In the first and second combined flight, Camila Quesada took first place with four wins and no losses while Alexis Bartek snagged the third place title at 3-1.

In the third and fourth flight, sophomore Stephanie Mannix took third place at 2-2.

In the fifth and sixth flight, Emily Hoffman won first with four wins no losses while Logan Taylor finished in third with 3-1.

The Bearcats did not participate in the seventh and eighth flight.

Both the women and men’s teams will continue play Sept. 21 at the ITA Regional Tournament in Springfield, Mo.
