Rosewell adds one at early signing period
MARYVILLE, Mo. – Northwest Missouri State women’s tennis has announced the addition of Gabby Briggs at the early signing period for the 2013-14 season.
Briggs finished up her senior season at Salina Central High School helping her team go undefeated at 34-0 and claiming the Kansas State Championship. Briggs set the school record for wins as she finished her four-year career with a mark of 136-10 earning all-state and all-league honors all four seasons.
“Gabby will make a great addition to our team,” said Head Coach Mark Rosewell. “She has a great work ethic and is extremely athletic. She fits perfectly with the needs of our team to return to the top of the conference.”
The Salina, Kan., native has also been outstanding in the classroom earning all-academic honors four years and is active in the community.
The Bearcat women are coming off a 12-12 season and fell in the MIAA Championship match to Southwest Baptist.
