Northwest falls to Central Oklahoma
LAWTON, OKla.-The Northwest Missouri State women's tennis team dropped its third match over the weekend in Oklahoma when they fell on Saturday to regionally-ranked Central Oklahoma 5-0.
The Bearcats and the Broncos played just two singles matches on the day after Central Oklahoma clinched the match. Alexis Bartek and Rocio Rappallo Fernandez lost their singles matches 3-6, 0-6 and 0-6, 1-6, respectively.
The doubles duo of Sureena Weir and Alison Wulff had the best performance in the doubles portion of the match. Weir and Wulff lost their matchup 8-6. The team of Erika Leston and Leslee Feldhaus lost 8-4 while the duo of Bartek and Emily Hoffman lost 8-3.
Northwest returns to action on Wednesday as the Bearcats host Rockhurst.
