Bearcats Compete at Truman Tournament
KIRKSVILLE, Mo.-Sureena Weir went 6-0 over the weekend at the Truman Tournament to take first place in the second singles flight for the Bearcats. Erika Leston finished second in the top flight for Northwest Missouri State going, 5-1.
Weir won her six matches by a combined score of 48-13 over the weekend. While Leston improved her overall record to 7-2 in singles matches this fall. Alexis Bartek, Leslee Feldhaus, Lane Hegarty and Ashleigh Kaberline also competed at Truman for the Bearcats.
Northwest will travel to Abilene, Texas this weekend for the ITA Regional Friday through Sunday to end its fall season.
