Northwest Tennis Signs Two
MARYVILLE, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State men's and women's tennis coach Mark Rosewell has announced the signing of Ashleigh Kaberline of Blue Springs, Mo., and Leslee Feldhaus of Liberty, Mo., to national letters of intent. Both are expected to compete for the Bearcats this fall.
Kaberline, who attended Blue Springs South High School, is a two-time state qualifier in tennis while being a first-team all-conference selection all four years. Kaberline earned eight varsity letters in high school - four each in soccer and tennis - and led the soccer team to a district title in 2007. In the classroom, Kaberline finished with a 4.0 grade point average.
Feldhaus, who attended Liberty High School, placed third at the Class 2 state doubles tennis tournament in each of her last three seasons and with three different partners. Feldhaus and junior teammate Abby Fish tied for Liberty's highest finish ever by a singles or doubles player last October. Feldhaus qualified for the doubles tournament in each of her four seasons.
