Chuck Fox became a student assistant prior to the 2010-11 season. After spending 20 years in the Air Force, Chuck returned to graduate school at Northwest in the fall of 2010 following his retirement.
Fox grew up in Mound City and was part of the 1981 Class IA State Basketball Championship team. He received a football scholarship to William Jewell College before joining the Air Force. While stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, Fox was a member of the Hurlburt Field Commandos, Men’s Basketball Team. During his Air Force Career, Fox was a constant presence in youth sports programs as a volunteer coach and mentor.
Fox has a bachelor’s of science degree in occupational safety and health from Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach, Alabama. Currently, he is pursuing his master's degree in health and physical education from Northwest.
Chuck is married to Penni, his wife of 24 years. They have two sons, Drake 19 and Creed 8. They reside in Maryville.
