"It was a major disappointment for Gentry and the team to lose her with major knee surgery. She was playing as well as anyone when the injury occurred. Gentry had waited more than two years to get back on the court, but she's working hard to get back next year."

2006 (Southern Illinois)

Started six games and played in 18 while battling injury ... scored a carer-high 11 points at Bradley (2/2) ... made a career-best 11 rebounds at Creighton (2/17), which included five offensive boards ... finished third on the team with eight blocked shots

Averaged 15 points per game in her senior season ... earned second-team all-state and named MVP of Metro Area All-Star game ... set school career records in field goal percentage and blocked shots ... finished fourth in school records in career scoring and rebounding
