BILLINGS, Mont. - Lauren Williams was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Megan Brue was selected on the Chinook Wireless/Clock Tower Inn Yellowjacket Classic team for their play in the holiday tournament.

Brue paced Northwest to its first victory against host Montana State-Billings scoring 20 points on 5-of-6 from the field and 8-of-10 from the charity stripe. Brue was perfect from beyond the arc hitting both 3-pointers she attempted. Brue averaged 14 points per game during the two-day tournament and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Just one more tournament remains on the Bearcats schedule, the Hoop 'N' Surf Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii from Dec. 16-17.
