Women's Hoops Tip Off at Illinois State
NORMAL, Ill. - The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team tips off at Illinois State today at 2 p.m. It will be the third straight year that Northwest will battle the Redbirds in an exhibition game.
Head coach Gene Steinmeyer will be absent to attend a family funeral. Assistant coach Lori Hopkins will serve as head coach for today's contest.
The Bearcats will open its regular season in Maryville with the Winstead-Reeves Classic on Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
