
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women’s basketball team had another player commit to play hoops in the form of Emma Frost-Briley. Emma, a 5-7 senior guard at Ft. Calhoun High School, averaged 13.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game in her senior campaign.
This season Emma was rewarded with first team all-state, all-conference and All-Omaha Area. Furthermore, she was a McDonald’s All-American All-Star Nominee and received the Greater Omaha Sports Committee Scholar/Athlete Award.
Head coach Gene Steinmeyer commented, “Emma had a lot of success in High School and we hope that success leads onto the college court.”
It is the third member that coach Steinmeyer has accepted to play next season.
