Morris White

Morris WhiteMorris White joined the athletic department as the Director of Athletic Marketing, Promotions and Licensing in 2006. In addition to managing the athletic department’s corporate sponsorship program, White provides administrative oversight for licensing, marketing, and game day events. He also manages the Athletic Marketing and Promotions internship program.

The native of St. Louis, Mo., served as an intern in the Athletic Marketing and Promotions department from 2005-2006. During this time, he formed "The Green House", a student-only cheering section at football and basketball home games which has increased at home contests. White also organized the 2005 football post-season awards ceremony and celebration and assisted in the National Championship party in Florence, Ala. He also helped direct National Women and Girls in Sports Day – an annual event that celebrates the participation of females in athletics.

White was a four year letter-winner at wide receiver and kick returner for the Bearcat football team from 2001-04. In his senior season as team captain, he helped lead Northwest to a No. 3 national ranking and an appearance in the Division II NCAA Quarterfinals. White left Northwest fifth on the career list for kickoff returns (43) and sixth for kickoff return yardage (1,064).

White acquired his bachelor's degree in Psychology with a double minor in Speech Communication and Health Education in April of 2005 from Northwest. He is currently pursuing his MBA and resides in Maryville.
