Volleyball's Dig Pink game set for Saturday2013 Volleyball Schedule
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State volleyball team will be participating in the Dig Pink promotion on Saturday in a 6 p.m. match against MIAA foe Emporia State. Admission to the match is free as fans are encouraged to attend the game following the homecoming football game at 2 p.m. against Missouri Southern.
The nation-wide Dig Pink promotion is aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness. The team will be wearing custom pink jerseys for the match. The Bearcats will partner with St. Francis Hospital to help create awareness and promote education of breast cancer. There will be a silent auction for fans to bid on including an autographed warm up top, a youth camp entry and more.
St. Francis Hospital will be on hand to help provide information before, during and after the contest. Every year, Northwest athletics donates proceeds from its breast cancer events on campus to benefit local families that are facing breast cancer. If you would like to nominate a family that is currently battling any type of cancer for the Bearcats to assist, please nominate them HERE.

The Bearcats will host nationally-ranked Washburn at 7 p.m. on Friday evening at Bearcat Arena.
