Bearcat volleyball to hold open tryout

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Head Coach Amy Phelps and the Northwest Missouri State volleyball has announced an open tryout Sunday, Jan. 27, starting at 1 p.m. inside Bearcat Arena.

The two-hour tryout will begin at 1 p.m. with the check-in process beginning at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Head Coach Amy Phelps at aphelps@nwmissouri.edu or 660.562.1782.

In order to participate in the tryout, players must bring proof of a medical physical done within the past six months.

High school seniors must have exhausted their high school eligibility in volleyball to participate in the tryout. Two-year college students and four-year college students must provide written permission from their respective schools allowing Northwest to contact the student. Any student who has transferred to Northwest from another four-year institution will be required to provide a release from that institution.
