Jessica Rinehart was named head volleyball coach at Northwest Missouri State in the spring of 2010. She arrived in Maryville after spending five seasons as the head coach at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.

Rinehart has transcended two volleyball programs since 2003. She led Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, to back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in program history. In 2005, she transitioned to Augsburg where she inherited a program that had finished 12th in the MIAC standings and steadily moved the Auggies up and into fourth place in 2009.

Rinehart is a native of Red Oak, Iowa, and in 2007 was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. She was a three-year starting outside hitter at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Mich., where she earned her bachelor's degree. She was a graduate assistant coach at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., for two seasons where she earned her master's degree.

Jessica and her husband, Mark, reside in Maryville. Mark is a Northwest graduate and a former member of the Bearcat football team.
