MARYVILLE, Mo. - For the 86th time since 1975, Northwest Missouri State (9-21, 6-11) and No. 14 Central Missouri (25-9, 12-5) meet tonight in the most-played series in Bearcat program history. First serve from the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo., is 7 p.m.
It will be a meeting of the MIAA's top liberos. Paige Spangenberg leads the conference with 5.43 digs per set while Central's Rachel Fister sits in second with 5.05 per set. Spangenberg needs 24 digs tonight to break the program season record of 618 set by Jill Quast in 1997.
