Northwest Drops 3-0 Match to Minnesota State-Moorhead
OMAHA, Neb. - Amber Ryan hit above .300 for the third straight match, but Northwest Missouri State dropped a 3-0 match to Minnesota State-Moorhead today in the Comfort Inn & Suites and Firewater Grille Tournament at Nebraska-Omaha. The Bearcats struggled at the net, as scores went 25-20, 25-18 and 25-21.
Northwest managed 21 ties through the first two sets against the Dragons, but could never gain a sizeable lead. Sara Falcone led the Bearcats with eight kills, while Ryan hit .357 with seven kills of 14 attempts.
The Bearcats wrap up this weekend's tournament against Mary tonight at 7 p.m. The Marauders have been shut out in all three matches this weekend.
