Bearcats Suffer 3-0 Loss to No. 6 Truman
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - (Box Score) Northwest Missouri State volleyball struggled at the net as the Bearcats fell 3-0 to No. 6 Truman on the road. Scores went 30-22, 30-19 and 30-20 for the Bulldogs.
Sara Falcone recorded a .375 hitting percentage in the opening game, spiking four kills on eight attacks. In game three, she hit .429 on four kills and seven attacks.
Falcone and Alicia Johnson led Northwest with nine kills apiece. Johnson just missed the double-double after tallying 10 digs behind Paige Spangenberg's 13. Johnson also made four blocks for the Bearcats.
Northwest stays on the road for the next two matches, traveling to No. 9 Central Missouri on Oct. 27 for a 12 noon match.
