No. 21 Emporia State Set to Invade Bearcat Arena
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The No. 21 Emporia State Hornets will invade Bearcat Arena on breat cancer awareness night. The first 200 fans will receive a free pink T-shirt to display a pink out at Bearcat Arena.
It will be the first meeting between the two foes this season, as the Hornets hold the all-time series record with a 29-11 mark. Nine of the 11 Bearcats wins have come in Bearcat Arena and Northwest is currently on a four-match winning streak.
Northwest has just six matches remaining after tonight, five being conference matches, and need to finish in the top four in the MIAA East to advance to the MIAA postseason tournament.
