MIAA Volleyball Tournament Announced
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (bracket) The Mid-America Athletics Association (MIAA) announced the 2007 volleyball tournament bracket with Northwest playing No. 17 Emporia State at 7 p.m. in Emporia, Kan on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The Bearcats secured the No. 3 in the East, while the Hornets are the No. 2 seed from the West.
It's the second straight year that the Bearcats have qualified for the MIAA volleyball postseason tournament. In 2006, Northwest dropped its opening match to Washburn 3-1.
