
MARYVILLE - South Dakota rattled off 19 straight points to open the third game in order to seal a 3-0 victory over Texas A&M-International DustDevils. Scores for the Coyotes went 30-18, 30-16, 30-11.
South Dakota remains undefeated, improving to 13-0. The DustDevils were unable to pick up their first victory, falling to 0-6 this season.
Amber Kobus tallied four straight aces in the third game, recording seven throughout the entire match. Laura Slagter notched a double-double with 12 kills and a match-high 16 digs. The Coyotes maintained a .471 hitting percentage, recording only five errors and 54 kills off 104 attacks.
Ladys Montano was the lone DustDevil to reach double-digit kills, knocking down 10. Madison Mojica led Texas A&M-International with 12 digs while Mary Koch recorded 25 assists.
