Match Eight: No. 17 Augustana , Texas A&M International (30-26, 30-23, 30-20)
MARYVILLE - Cayla Schroeder's 16 kills and 14 digs led the Augustana Vikings to a 3-0 victory against Texas A&M International DustDevils. Scores went 30-26, 30-23, and 30-20.After the victory the Vikings progress to 9-2 and the DustDevils fall to 0-5 on the season.
Schroeder finished with a double-double with her 16 kills and 14 digs. Jenna Lago led all players with 22 digs as one of four Vikings to notch double-digit digs. The Vikings out hit the DustDevils .213-.165.
Ladys Montana led the Texas effort with a double-double of 12 kills and 11 digs. Nicole Gipson also slammed in 12 kills. The DustDevils tallied six team blocks, lead by Brittany Smith and Nicole Gibson with three each.
