Match Seven: South Dakota 3, Southwest Baptist 0 (30-23, 30-18, 30-15)
Ashley Gross and Kathleen Hruska led the South Dakota Coyotes to their 12th consecutive victory beating the Southwest Baptist Lady Bearcats 3-0 in the first match on Saturday. Scores went 30-23, 30-18, and 30-25.The Coyotes move to 12-0 after the win, while Southwest Baptist falls to 4-8 on the season.
Kathleen Hruska topped the Coyotes kill charts with 15 and hit .481 at the net. Ashley Gross was right behind her with 14 kills and Gina Baldwin dished out a match-high of 44 assists. Amber Kobus led the Coyotes in digs with 17.
Brittni Jessen was the lone bright spot for the Lady Bearcats with 11 kills and 8 digs. Southwest hit just .143 at the net committing 20 errors. Defensively, Sarah Perry had a match-high 18 digs.
