Match Five: South Dakota 3, Newman 0 (30-19, 30-20, 30-15)

South Dakota earned its second win of the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Classic improving their record to 11-0. South Dakota had two players with over 13 total kills and three players with over 11 digs. Scores went 30-19, 30-20 and 30-15.

South Dakota earned its 11th straight win to start the season. Newman fought back in the second match but it wasn't enough and their record fell to 0-13.

Kathleen Hruska led South Dakota with 16 kills in three matches. Laura Slagter led the Lady Coyotes with 13 kills and 11 digs. South Dakota out hit the Bearcats .343 - .056 and each team finished with a total of 5 blocks.
