Sara Falcone Signs, Will Become a 2007 Volleyball Player

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State volleyball coach Anna Tool signed her second player in as many days when 6-0 middle hitter Sara Falcone from Gross Catholic High School in Omaha, Neb., agreed to become a Bearcat. Falcone finished her high school career helping Gross High to a second-place finish in the Class B Nebraska state tournament this past weekend. She was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and has played extensive club ball with the Nebraska Elite and Nebraska One teams. As a junior, Falcone earned First-Team All-Tournament Team honors as she was a part of the state championship team. She ended her senior season with 374 kills, 90 blocks and 29 service aces while hitting .365 at the net.

Falcone also competed in soccer and track at Gross Catholic High School and has been an academic honor roll student since her freshman year.
