Bearcats get Swept at Emporia State

EMPORIA, Kan. - (3-0 L) Northwest Volleyball team lost 3 games in a row to Emporia State tonight in a rather quick match. The Bearcats struggled losing all three games by at least 5 points. Only two players recorded double digit kills, led by senior MacKenzie Heston with 15. As a team the Bearcats had a dismal .130 hitting percentage offensively. Defensively senior Sarah Trowbridge sparkled with 20 digs, while three others recorded 11 or more to compliment Trowbridge.

Northwest has now dropped 9 of its last 11 matches after starting the season 5-1.

Northwest will take on #9 Washburn tommorrow at 5 p.m
