David "DC" Colt Athletic Training Room
Housed in the lower level of the Lamkin Activity Center is the David “DC” Colt Athletic Training Room. This facility was renovated in 2009 and named in honor of David “DC” Colt, who provided care for over 10,000 Bearcat student-athletes during his 27-year tenure as the Head Athletic Trainer at Northwest Missouri State. The upgraded athletic training room features a four person modular taping station and eight split leg treatment tables with padded backrests including an embossed Bearcat paw on each. There are also two spin bikes, six person cold whirlpool, new offices for full-time staff, doctor’s office with diagnostic tools and upgraded rehabilitation equipment. It is more functional than ever and allows for exceptional medical services to our Bearcat student-athletes.
