Athletic Training Room
Housed in the lower level of Lamkin Activity Center is the athletic training room. The athletic training room was also part of the renovation of Lamkin Activity Center in the early 1990's. Major changes included expanding the area of the athletic training room to 2,700 square feet. Included in the athletic training room are offices for the head and assistant athletic trainers, an office for the graduate assistants, an area for student lockers and work area.
The athletic training room features nine treament tables. Three game ready units are available for athletic events as needed.
The rehabilitation area includes stationary bicycles, upper body urgometter, theraband station, weight set, physioballs, jump stretch bands, plyo-back trampoline and MVP Pro Shuttle Systems.
A number of water coolers and bottles are available for athletic events at Northwest Missouri State University. Two whirlpool machines are also available for needed treatments.
A centrally located treatment island is available with easy access to needed supplies.
The MVP Pro Shuttle System is available to Northwest athletes for athletic training needs.
