2013 Schedule of Events | 2013 Results
ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries will once again be done online for the 2013
Northwest Open. The entry window for the Northwest Open will be activated on
Monday, March 25, at 6 a.m. and close Wednesday, April 3, at 10 p.m. Your entries must be
declared prior to 10 p.m. on that date. You can save your entries without
declaring by clicking on the appropriate link.

ENTRIES: Unlimited
EENTRY FEES: $20.00 per individual. $200 per team. (If both men’s and women’s team enter the fee is $400) Please make all checks payable to: Northwest Track and Field.
MEET ADMIN: Meet shall be conducted in accordance with the 2013 NCAA Track and Field rules.
AWARDS: T-shirts will be awarded to the top finisher in each event and each member of winning relay teams.
CLERKING: Athletes must pick up hip numbers under the south end of the west grandstand, and then check-in with clerk at the starting line 10 minutes before their event.
TRACK SURFACE: Track, runways, and high jump apron are of polyurethane rubber.
THROW EVENTS: Shot put, discus, and javelin and hammer competition on the west throwing facility 2 blocks west of the stadium. Implement certification will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10 a.m. Certification will be done at the throwing venue.
SPIKES: Not longer than ¼ inch (PYRAMID STYLE ONLY) in shoes with recessed threads, such as the high jump and javelin, 3/8 inch (PYRAMID STYLE ONLY) may be used. Officials may randomly check spikes and violators will be asked to change spikes or may be disqualified.
ATHLETIC TRAINERS: Trainers will be furnished. (Call Kelly Quinlin for special arrangements at 660.562.1313)
DRESSING: Please have athletes dress to compete. Shower facilities are available, towels will not be provided.
TEAM CAMPS: In stadium seating or grass outside of fence. NO CAMPS ON FIELD.
PARKING: Team buses and vans are required to park in the lot one block west of the stadium adjacent to the throwing area. You may unload in front of the stadium.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will take place on the west side of the stadium.
