Wichman earns provisional mark
MARYVILLE, Mo. – Chloe Wichman highlighted the Ashley Nally Heptathlon and Herschel Neil Decathlon for the Northwest Missouri State track and field teams earning a provisional mark in the heptathlon Saturday.
Wichman earned 4636 points to finish first for the Bearcats as her provisional mark gives her the sixth best point total in NCAA-II. Wichman won five events en route to the first place finish for the Bearcats.
Adrienne Cornelius finished second with 4134 points followed by Jessica Hugo in third with 3951 points.
On the men’s side Logann Halloran finished first for the Bearcats with 5987 points. Seth Staashelm finished close behind in third with 5671 points.
Northwest returns to action April 6 as they host the Northwest Open at Bearcat Stadium.
