Seven compete at Nebraska
Carroll beat a field of 17 runners to take the women's 5,000-meter crown. Carroll finished with a time of 17:55.90, which is the fourth-best time in program history and currently the second-best mark to date in the MIAA.
Hrdlicka took 12th place in the mile with a career-best time of 5:13.68. Hrdlicka's performance ranks sixth in program history and her time is eighth-best in the MIAA to date.
Sophomore Brittany Poole finished 10th in the 3,000-meter run with a season-best time of 10:39.74. Freshman Ashli Mosby ran 9.04 in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles and 9.06 in the finals to place eighth in the event.
Senior Kate Walter, sophomore Will Haer and senior Eric Rickert represented the Bearcats in field events. Walter finished 13th in the weight throw with a toss of 56-feet-1-inch. Haer was 15th in the pole vault with a height of 15-feet-1.75-inches. Rickert took 14th in the shot with a put of 51-feet-3.75-inches.
The meet featured mainly Division I student-athlete but also included member of NCAA Division II and several athletes from community colleges. Nebraska-Omaha and Emporia State helped represent the MIAA.
