Bearcat 400M Relay Team Finishes Ninth in NCAA Finals
WALNUT, Calif. - The Northwest Missouri State men's 400-meter relay team finished ninth in the final day of the 2008 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. Kendall Wright, Sheldon Cook, E.J. Falkner and John Miles ran 43.26, missing All-America honors by one place.
The four ran a program record 40.80 at the Emporia State Twilight Qualifier May 10 to qualify for the national championships. They became the first Northwest men's 400-meter relay team to advance to the finals of the NCAA championships in program history after running 40.88 in the preliminaries May 22.
