Ingram Earns Fourth Career All-MIAA Decathlon Honor

HAYS, Kan. - Courtland Ingram earned All-MIAA honors in the decathlon for the fourth straight year, placing fifth with 6,492 points at the MIAA Multi-Event Championships that concluded today in Hays, Kan. Jennifer Kiss placed seventh in the heptathlon, scoring 4,157 points, while sophomore Lindsay Biermann scored 3,897 points for 10th place.

Ingram finished second in the javelin throw with a mark of 171-7 and tied for second in the pole vault with a height of 14-3.25. He finished in the top five in five of the 10 events.

Kiss scored her most points in the final event, scoring 742 points in the 800-meter run by running 2:26.11. She also finished fifth in the long jump with 16-11.25, scoring 598 points, and fifth in the shot put with a throw of 30-8.25 for 487 points.

Biermann jumped up two spots in the overall standings with her final event, scoring 735 points by finishing third in the 800-meter run in 2:26.71.
