Calbert Finishes Eighth in Triple Jump to Earn All-America Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Senior Diezeas Calbert picked up his second outdoor All-America title in the triple jump, recording 49-11 in an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C. Calbert earned the third All-America title for the Bearcat men at the national championships, which concluded today.

Calbert took until his sixth and final jump of the event to reach 49-11. He earned All-America honors in the event last season, jumping 50 1/2 in a sixth-place finish.

The Northwest men finished 32nd as a team, recording 7.5 points.
