Isley Advances to Finals in 800-Meter Run at NCAA Championships
EMPORIA, Kan. – Junior Eric Isley qualified second in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run to advances to tomorrow’s finals in the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships today in Emporia, Kan. Junior Bayo Adio finished ninth in the finals of the high jump with 6’ 9 3/4”. All-America honors are awarded to the top eight in each event.
Isley finished first in his heat with 1:52.57. Finals for the 800-meter run will at 6:59 p.m., on Sat., May 27.
Isley will be one of three Bearcats in action tomorrow, as senior Diezeas Calbert and freshman Daniel Urum-Ike will compete in the finals of the triple jump at 5:30 p.m.
