Falkner Places Fifth in the 200-meter at the National Championships
ABILENE, Tex. -- (complete results) Northwest Missouri State sophomore E.J. Falkner took fifth-place in the 200-meter finals at the 2005 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships late yesterday. After taking second in the 400-meter finals on Saturday, Falkner grabbed his fourth All-America honors of 2005 with a 21.32 clocking in the 200-meter. At the indoor championships, Falkner was an All-American in the 55-meter and 200-meter.
The top 200-meter runner was Marvin Bien-Aime from host-school Abilene Christian with a time of 20.98.
As a team, the Northwest men tied for seventh-place with 32 points. Abilene Christian won team honors with a109 points.
