
LAWRENCE, Kan. - Northwest Missouri State Track and Field finished day two at the Kansas Relays. In day one the Freshman Karah Spader placed fifth in the 3000 meter run taking a time of 11:18.73. In the 1500m run Northwest had three athletes place in the top ten; Heather Brokaw received seventh place with a time of 5:08.52, Junior Dia McKee ran a 5:19.57 to get eigth place and coming in at 11th place Kim Homan with a clock of 5:34.89.
The men on Thursday placed in the 3000m steeplechase. Placing eigth was Daniel Pescador with 11:05.25 and Laz Marquart placed ninth with 11:22.11.
Day two resulted with Dallas Flynn placing fourth in the shot put with a distance of 53'00"3/4. The women 4x100 which included Alisha Samuel, Audrey Bailey, Megan Robinson, and Kailea Cook took the eigth spot with a time of 48.46.
The 'Cats will be competing tomorrow April 23 at the Kansas Relays and the Doan College Invite.
