Bearcats Compete at Qualifying Meets Over Weekend
| Top Performances Concordia Twilight May 14 Seward, Neb. Men 200 - E.J. Falkner, 1st, 47.52 Emporia State Twilight May 15 Emporia, Kan. Men 800 - Eric Isley, 5th, 1:52.29 SP - Daniel McKim, 7th, 51-1 HT - Daniel McKim, 6th, 174-4 Women 4x100 Relay, 1st, 47.42* 200 - Alisha Samuel, 2nd, 26.2 SP - K. Scherer, 7th, 40-11.5 Discus - Mary Wirt, 5th, 147-6 | MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Track and Field athletes took part in the Emporia State Twilight Qualifier and the Concordia (Neb.) Twilight over the weekend. The Bearcat women's 4x100-meter relay team set a new school record and took first place in Emporia with a time of 47.42 seconds. Northwest's top individual women's performance over the weekend was Alisha Samuel, who placed second in the 200-meter dash at Emporia in a time of 26.20. E.J. Falkner had the top men's performance of the weekend, winning the 400-meter dash at the Concordia Twilight in a time of 47.52 seconds
