MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Track and Field athletes took part in the Emporia State Twilight Qualifier and the Concordia (Neb.) Twilight over the weekend.

The Bearcat women's 4x100-meter relay team set a new school record and took first place in Emporia with a time of 47.42 seconds. Northwest's top individual women's performance over the weekend was Alisha Samuel, who placed second in the 200-meter dash at Emporia in a time of 26.20.

E.J. Falkner had the top men's performance of the weekend, winning the 400-meter dash at the Concordia Twilight in a time of 47.52 seconds
