Beatrice's Vitosh to join Northwest Missouri State softball

MARYVILLE, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State head softball coach Ryan Anderson has announced that Abbie Vitosh (Beatrice, Neb.) has signed a scholarship agreement and will compete for the Bearcat program next season.

Vitosh is a four-year letterwinner for the Lady Orange softball team and earned all-state honors as a pitcher in each of the last two seasons. She finished with 509 career strikeouts and 49 career wins which rank third and second in school history, respectively. Vitosh threw seven no-hitters in one season.

Vitosh is the daughter of Terry and Jeanette. She also plays basketball, helps with Special Olympics and is a member of the science, Spanish and key clubs at Beatrice.
