Friday's doubleheader is canceled
MARYVILLE, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State's softball season will have to wait a bit longer before getting underway this year. The Bearcats' season-opening doubleheader against Drury that was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 12 has been canceled.
Northwest is scheduled to travel to Tahlequah, Okla., this weekend for the Northeastern State tournament. Inclement weather conditions and snow on the field could cancel or move that tournament as well.
