Carter Earns All-Region Honors

MARYVILLE, Mo.—Northwest Missouri State senior softball player Tiffany Carter has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association (NFCA) All-Region Team sponsored by Louisville Slugger and announced Thursday.
Carter batted .355 with 11 home runs and set the program’s single-season record with 51 RBIs, which led the MIAA. She finished her two-year career as a Bearcat with 100 RBIs – fifth most in Northwest history.
Carter was a second-team selection as a utility player. She made 25 starts at first base, 17 as the designated player and nine at third base. Carter is one of nine MIAA student-athletes listed on the two teams.
