Krueger Gets Third Academic All-District Award

MARYVILLE, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State senior softball pitcher Cola Krueger (Blue Springs, Mo.) has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the third consecutive year. Krueger, who maintained a 3.91 grade point average while majoring in marketing and management, was a third-team selection.
Krueger was 7-17 in the circle with a 4.32 earned run average. She pitched in 38 of Northwest's 51 games, threw 10 complete games and hurled two shutouts.
Krueger is Northwest's all-time leader in career appearances (135), innings pitched (594.1) and strikeouts (368). Her 47 collegiate victories are the second-most in program history as are her 16 shutouts.
Krueger is one of seven pitchers selected to the Academic All-District team which represents NCAA Divisions II and III as well as NAIA-member schools. The MIAA had three selections including Nebraska-Omaha's Melissa Negrette (second team) and Missouri Western's Allison Jones (third team).
