Changes To Softball Schedule
MARYVILLE, Mo.—Pittsburg State University has cancelled its softball tournament schedule to be played Feb. 16. Northwest Missouri State, scheduled to compete at PSU, will instead travel to Jefferson City, Mo., Saturday to compete in a doubleheader at Lincoln University. Game one will start at 11 a.m. with game two to follow.
It will be the season opener for both Northwest and Lincoln. The two teams were scheduled to play the first game of the Pittsburg State tournament.
Northwest has never lost to Lincoln, winning 32 consecutive games. The Bearcats swept a doubleheader from the Blue Tigers last season in Maryville.
