Bearcat soccer begins MIAA play
2011 MIAA Women's Soccer l Follow the Bearcats LIVE
MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University soccer team opens MIAA play on the road this Thursday night before returning home to Bearcat Pitch on Saturday for another MIAA matchup.
Northwest (2-1-1) matches up with the Truman State University Bulldogs (1-2-1) Thursday night in Kirksville, Mo. at 7 p.m. The Bearcats are coming off of their second overtime game of the season and first draw as they try to return to their winning ways. Last season Northwest tied 1-1 and lost 0-1 to Truman and overall are 0-21-1 when facing the Bulldogs.
Tammie Eiberger leads the Bearcats with six goals on the season. Victoria Von Mende is second in goals with four after scoring both of the goals in the Bearcats 2-2 draw against Newman.
